Several Changes in NJIR's Week 12 Top 20

After Thanksgiving, the Non-Public Finals and the first weekend of “bowl” games, New Jersey Internet Radio’s Top 5 has several changes including a new #1 and it’s not St. Joe’s (Mont). 12-0 Piscataway is our new leader. Piscataway has perfect so far including a 49-14 win over Thanksgiving rival Franklin on the road. Bergen Catholic drops to #4 after being shut out by St. Joe’s (Mont) to end both of their seasons. Red Bank Catholic holds at #3 and end the year at 10-0. Phillipsburg lost its classic Thanksgiving game vs. Easton (PA) by a touchdown. The Stateliners drop to 10-2 and one slot in the Top 20 from 4 to 5. The committee feels that being undefeated counts and elevated Piscataway to the top spot. The Chiefs play Ridgewood at MetLife Stadium this Saturday at 1 in the North Jersey Group 5 “bowl” game. New Jersey Internet Radio does not include schools in Gloucester, Salem, Camden, Burlington, Mercer, Cape May and Atlantic Counties or schools who play in the prep division in our rankings.Methodology; Staff looks at a combination of power points, record, points scored, schedule and other factors. Teams with 4 losses or more are not eligible. New Jersey Internet Radio is driven by Mark Montenero and the team at World Famous Autoland - Visit Autoland Toyota, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram.
